 Lisa Paul is one of the most innovative floral designers on the Chicago scene. Her unique signature combines the artistic with the agriculture, the colorful with the culinary. She uses herbs, fruits and vegetables in stunning natural arrangements that look as if they sprang from a lush garden. Their shapes lend a striking sculptural element to her designs.  Her monochromatic style is reminiscent of an artist’s color wheel.   • Derrick Valenti – Warwick Allerton Hotel

My career started when I was 17 years old and living in South Florida. I was asked to help plan and design a decor theme for an over the top movie theme party for a family friend. From that party, I realized I had a passion for using my creative skills to bring joy and excitement to people. When I realized I could specialize in the field and gain a degree in event management my fate was sealed forever. To this day, I have planned and or have been involved with over 500 events. Anything from large corporate incentive trips to over the top once in a life time celebrations of love.

  • Lindsay Gaeta – Storybook Weddings 

Lindsay Gaeta is the Senior Planner for Storybook Weddings and Events.
Storybook is an award-winning Wedding and Event Planning company based in Chicago, with services offered Nationwide.  Lindsay works alongside Storybook owner and NACE Member Nicole Hensley, as well as fellow event producer Lisa Jaroscak.  Together they provide Full-service, Partial Planning, and Day-of Coordination services, which allows couples to begin working with them at any point of the planning process... although the sooner, the better, of course!  From grand to intimate events, the Storybook team is committed to making the planning experience just as enjoyable as the wedding day.
