Personal Overview

1)      What drew you to the hospitality/event industry? I love traveling and since I was young, the hotel industry intrigued me. When the time came I decided to study hotel management.

2)      What's the best thing about your job? I enjoy creating memories and organizing the details for the events

3)      What do you hope to gain from your NACE membership? I would like to learn more from other people in the industry as well as an opportunity to network.

4)     What industry topics interest you? What would you like to learn about? I am always open to learn more on all the topics however some topics that I have always been interested on are eco-tourism and planning and design of social events

5)      Life is not ALL business…..so what do you do in your free time? I love the beach, scuba diving and dancing. I also have 2 dogs that enjoy spending my free time with.

6)      What is your favorite travel destination and why? I have many but 2 places that I have always dreamt of is Australia and Bora Bora. I haven’t have the opportunity to go yet.

7)      List one thing you would like to complete or have completed on your bucket list. I would like to speak 5 languages I only speak 3 fluently. Few more to come!

Company Overview

1)     Describe your company in 50 words or less.

The Embassy Suites downtown Chicago is a 2 room suite hotel that offers complementary free made-to-order breakfast and a complementary reception in the afternoon in the heart of Chicago 3 blocks from Michigan Avenue. We also offer 11,000 sq feet of great meeting space with a large atrium in the center of the hotel looking into the guestroom corridors and the lobby. 

The Hilton Garden Inn Magnificent Mile is a fully renovated hotel in the heart of Chicago 2 blocks away from Michigan Avenue. Our hotel is next to the red line and of the public transportation. The hotel offer complementary internet in the meeting space as well as guestrooms, fitness center and a cover swimming pool. We also offer 6,000 sq feet of meeting space with natural light.

2)      How long has your company been in business? Embassy Suites opened in 1991 and Hilton Garden Inn opened in 1999

3)      What are some of the services you offer that people may not know about? The Embassy Suites offer a free made-to-order breakfast and a complementary reception in the afternoon with alcoholic drinks.
